[AQHA] 14.2 hands - 2008 Sorrel Mare (Chic Please x Misters Soul Train) (Ohio) Smart and kind AQHA, NRHA 14.2h Ranch Mare by Chic Please (NRHA Open Futurity Champion, NRCHA Open Futurity Reserve Champion and Million Dollar Sire). Out of a Producing daughter of Mr Dual Pep (leading NRHA, NCHA Million Dollar Sire, and NRCHA Million Dollar Sire). With a background in the reining, this mare has a lovely W/T/C, easy lead changes, spins and rolls back. Nice stop, side passes and fluid lateral movement. Exceptional long trot and a jog you can ride all day. Though her background is in the reining and she’s taken her kiddo through the reining patterns many times, she excels in the ranch and trail work. This mare has been a young youth rider’s first step up out of the W/T and has been an exceptional partner for him the past two+ years - many Top 5 and Top 10 placings at the All American Youth Horse Show, Top 5 Novice Youth for the 2024 ORHA season. Additionally, she has been involved in a lesson and YEDA program with many wins for her catch riders in the ranch and horsemanship. Prior to the past few years back in the show ring with the kiddos, she had a few babies and is a proven broodmare with several successful babies on the ground, including a top 3 futurity horse and a world show qualifier, to name a few. Outside of the show ring, she has been trail ridden extensively, has been horse camping and trail riding through the mountains in PA, to local Metropark trails and cow sorting. This mare will be an exceptional partner for anyone in a program looking for a step-up that wants to be competitive in the ranch ring, Or if you’re looking for something to ride around at home, trail ride, or breed, she’s your girl!  Sadly, it is time for her kiddo to find another step up mount and she deserves her own person. Great for farrier and vet, easy to clip (no twitch needed), easy to catch and keep around. Turns out with mares and geldings, not mareish, kind and easy enough for young kids to handle. Has been in a regular program over the past several years and is the same horse each day. Shod all around (does not currently have sliders) and always UTD on dental, farrier, chiropractic, deworming and maintenance - moves best with yearly hock & stifle injections. Produce Record: 2014. Hot Shot Whiz - s.m. by Whiz Van Winkle 2016. Cocktakilsgimmerhythm - s.g. by Wimpyneedsacocktail.  NRHA $3,345.15. 9 Open and 1 Amateur Performance points.
