Duke is a versatile 2016 gelding with a solid foundation and a great all-around handle. He was bred by the legendary Birdseye Ranch and trained by AQHA Champion and NCHA hall of famer Bobby Lewis. Originally started as a team roping horse with Bobby Lewis, Duke carries that same level of quality and training into everything he does. He’s bred and built to be your go-to ranch horse, play day partner, or show ring contender. Duke has experience in ranch shows, team roping training, mounted shooting, and has the speed and agility to excel in speed events like barrels and poles. He’s also a great candidate for ranch sorting or general all-around riding. On top of his arena skills, Duke absolutely loves to go trail riding—he’s steady, confident, and enjoys getting out and covering the country.
