SEE NEW VIDEOS!! SPOOKS GONNA SHINE is a 2023 buckskin filly with a very good pedigree by Spooks Gotta Whiz out of a Shining Spark mare. Spools Gotta Shine is very beautiful and correct with just enough white.  Spooks Gonna Shine is certainly a filly who will shine under the right rider. The right rider will be a professional or a very good Non Pro who wants a competitive ride as this filly is talented and wants to learn. Just her breeding suggests a high caliber Reiner but don't discount cow work and Ranch Riding as she was turned out with cattle as a yearling.  She has been in training January, February, and March with a 3 month break to mature and be trail ridden. She has been with Jason Richards now for a month and is doing very well with her maneuvers she is a very good mover and initially quite feely but as she becomes familiar with her rider she settles in and is sensitive to the aids but not over reactive. She is going to have a wicked turn around rollback and stop. She is starting to hunt her circles and stay consistent within her paces. She is soft in her face and very willing off the leg this filly has been started right and is ready for a good rider. She has been trail ridden alone and with company and she is a fun ride. She has a very good long trot which will score very well in Ranch.   Spooks Gonna Shine aka Dahl is not an in-your-pocket type she is kind and pleasant to be around but she does need some time to settle in to a new home. She will stand quietly when tied in her stall. Dahl is very good to trailer and loads easily. She is getting better for the farrier but we usually trim her in her stall with a nose twitch just to settle her she doesn't kick and picks up her feet well for grooming but is uncomfortable with the hold of the farrier. This said her feet are trimmed when required. I have never trimmed her with clippers so I don't know how she is with clippers. Dahl has been turned out most of her life with other horses where she is not aggressive and learns who she should respect. She is easy to catch and will come when called once she knows you.  Her current owner purchased her as a weanling and now finds that she is not experienced enough for this ride, however she does do well with this filly  but feels as a veteran aged rider this filly will shine with a younger pro or good non pro. She has no buck or bolt will stop easily and will look at distractions but not spooky.  Up to date on vaccinations January 2025 worming July 2025 recent X-rays of hocks and front feet are clean and can be sent to serious bidders on request.  She  6 panel negative Splash white.  UPDATE: Dahl just got her first set of hind shoes.  She was just held for the farrier with no twitch required.
